D.O.V.E. (Daughters of Virtue and Excellence) which means that God has called us as his daughters to walk in virtue and excellence. We are to encourage each other and those that we encounter on a daily basis.
D.O.V.E. Ministry is designed to meet the needs of women of all ages. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Quad City Community Development Center.
The atmosphere is meant to encourage, uplift and strengthen all those that come. The discussions are led by Evangelist Fatina Conway. Ladies are encouraged to share their life experiences based on the topic being discussed, but we are always open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us in discussions that will help and heal all who are in attendance. During our meetings we have seen God at work, healing each of us on our individual levels. We continue to come each month to grow in the word of God, to seek his will for our lives and to encourage each other to fulfill God’s ultimate purpose and plan for our lives.
There is no dress code; many of the ladies come directly from work. Food is provided. We have (3) rules for attending meetings they are …
(1)We must keep it Real, (We are not effective in helping others, if we are superficial and fake).
(2)We must keep all discussions Confidential (No one wants to hear confidential matters they have shared outside our intimate setting).
(3)We must commit to encouraging each other (We all could use some encouragement, to keep us going).
D.O.V.E. is open to Women of ages, backgrounds, struggles and personalities, (even if you’re quiet, there is no pressure to talk, and you’ll be surprised what you may learn just by coming and listening!)
During the month of August annually, D.O.V.E. host either a Women’s Conference or Retreat.
